The original title for this film is "Quod Me Alit, Me Extinguit" it's a latin quote, someday we'll explain where it came from. This film is an industrial self portrait, it's about mindscape and architecture, it was shot in B/W reversal film in various huge abandonned factories in Chicago , this footage was then posterized through color separation optical printing, the original sound for this film was created by the filmmaker. Altough later re-prints circulating mostly around England have been released with some obscure Aphex Twin soundtrack.
Exhibited throughout the world. Best Experimental Film 1990 XV Festival Of Illinois Film And Video Artists,Chicago. Special Award Utah Short Film And Video Festival 1991. Other key festivals: Ann Arbor Michigan, Humboldt California, Athens Ohio, San Francisco Art Institute Film Festival, Pentacone Kultur Zentrum Dresde Germany ect.
