Crepitus, the 2nd part in the "Black Mesh" triptych that started with "Hymn to Pan" will have it's world premiere at the Festival du Nouveau Cinéma in Montréal on Saturday October 11th at the Ex-Centris, the film will also be shown on October 12th
"Hymn to Pan" to be presented at Lausanne Underground Film & Music Festival in Switzerland (oct'15th to 19th 2008), Kick That Habit Man! (1989) will also be presented in the same program.

The film was at SHOCKERFEST International Film Festival in California. On February 20th at 6:45pm the movie playled at The Parc Cinema in Montreal for The RVCQ Festival.
The 1st part of the "Black Mesh" triptych entitled "Hymn to Pan" was selected to open!! The 45th Ann Arbor Film Festival in competition, see picture below. It was featured at the Toronto International Film Festival in September 2007, the film will go on to play at The Antimatter Underground Film Festival in Victoria, it end up playing for the first time in Montreal at The Festival du Nouveau Cinéma in October, it played at the RVCQ in Montreal on February 16.This film was funded by Le Conseil des Arts et des Lettres du Québec. Hymn To Pan: Francois Miron’s experimental short is not for fans of mainstream cinema. It’s at once loud, brash and fascinating – think one of Warhol’s factory films on speed. I was the DOP for a promo film shoot for Arcade Fire's latest: Neon Bible, they wanted a "Guy Maddin" look, I believe I pretty much sort of nailed it, since they used what I shot to make their CD cover art and promo poster ect.
